Solution
The Large ISP selected Infinitive as its transformation partner. Infinitive established a robust program management office (PMO) to implement governance and controls for the long-term transformation initiative. For the PMO, Infinitive developed and implemented rigorous, best practices-based processes to drive the project forward against specific benchmarks and milestones.
Infinitive business analysts were "embedded" into key functional areas and teams of client staff and other consultants—a proven approach to maintaining focus on client needs and objectives. Immersed in the client's day-to-day operations and fully versed in the strategy, Infinitive consultants translated business needs into system and process requirements.
Infinitive's role soon evolved beyond the PMO. Applying the principles of Change EngineeringSM to operations, Infinitive consultants charted current processes, facilitated the design of "to-be" processes and helped create detailed plans and workflows for cutover activities. These steps laid the foundation for both the business and IT to migrate to the new platform.
Results
The Large ISP migrated successfully to a new integrated advertising platform and saw immediate and significant gains in ad revenue—26%, 40% and 46% in the first three quarters alone. With its long-term strategy operationalized and supported by optimized processes and systems, the client is well positioned for further revenue growth.
