Infinitive Launches Women of the Workplace Initiative
ASHBURN, VA., January 3, 2006 - Infinitive, a Northern Virginia-based management consultancy, today announced the kickoff of The Women of the Workplace (WOW) initiative.
Infinitive has 75 employees, approximately 50 percent of whom are women with 40 percent in management. WOW was created to provide a forum for women to network and share ideas about sustaining and growing a career within consulting and Infinitive. WOW hosts monthly meetings in a casual environment allowing for the free exchange of ideas. WOW provides valuable thought leadership on the policies and culture that make Infinitive a great place to work.
"The Women of the Workplace Initiative is a natural extension of our value proposition for all employees of 'growth, balance and fun'. The creation of this program was employee-driven and one that we felt supported the spirit of the positive work experience we strive to maintain at Infinitive," remarked Denis McFarlane, CEO, Infinitive.
