For the 13th year in a row, Infinitive is proud to sponsor the March of Dimes’ March for Babies. The mission of the March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality through research, community services, education, and advocacy.
The March for Babies is an annual event that raises money for:
- Expanding education programs for medical professionals to make sure that moms and babies get the best possible care
- Advocating for policies that prioritize the health of babies and mothers
- Funding research to find solutions to the biggest health threats
The Washington, DC March will be held Saturday, May 4 at Nationals Park. It is one of over 1,000 events around the country, which involve several million people annually.
Affecting one in ten births and about 500,000 babies per year, premature birth and birth defects present serious threats to long-term health, as well as significant financial challenges for families and businesses.
The March of Dimes’ mission means a great deal to Infinitive President & COO Phil Kyle, who had children born prematurely and who now serves on the MOD board. In this video, Phil talks with Infinitive CEO Denis McFarlane about the company’s long history of support for the March of Dimes, and preparations for the coming March for Babies.
Infinitive employees have begun organizing a walking team and enthusiastically raising funds for the event.
