Implementing SaaS Solutions

Challenge

After a recent acquisition and a concurrent new software launch, a leading technology company found themselves in the difficult position of trying to implement new customers and migrate dozens of existing customers to their flagship Software as a Service (SaaS) platform with limited professional services bandwidth.

Solution

Staffed a team of technology and industry experts to lead the migration from legacy platforms to a new SaaS cloud-based solution, which included:
  • Driving requirements development for new features and functionality
  • Managing the project governance, issues tracking, and risk mitigations for client launches
  • Overseeing configuration of the platform, including product taxonomy definition
  • Designing data migration solutions, including field mapping and active campaign migration
  • Supporting go-live testing, user acceptance testing and end-user training for client sign-off

Outcome

Successfully migrated 50+ clients onto the new platform, allowing the technology vendor to complete migrations in less than 18 months. Benefits included:
  • New business processes to maximize benefits of the platform
  • Fast-paced requirements collection and configuration design
  • Dozens of clients successfully added to the new platform without interruption to live campaigns
  • Integration and data migration designs that leverage the strengths of the software as the central hub of the pitch to pay process
