Popular media streaming company, Netflix, is gambling the idea of diving into the ad business. It’s predicted that Netflix could charge advertisers about $80 for every 1,000 views of an ad by utilizing 1st party data to target consumers. This would place Netflix as one of the most expensive programming destinations in online advertising.
